I am a new Army Nurse Corps Officer who will be stationed at Walter Reed for the next 3 years beginning in May. My BAH is $1600/month, but I would like to spend less than this preferably around $1300/month. If I have to spend more I am okay with this, but would like to have utilities included. I am looking for nice studio or 1 bedroom with new appliances, doorman or safe area, and washer/dryer in unit. Any suggestions? I want something that is close to the metro lines because I do not want to have to drive everyday. I currently live in New York City so I am used to good public transportation and it will be an easy transition to Washington, DC. Any specific apartment complexes or buildings would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
