Default Charles County or Frederock to Bethesda?

My hubbie will be working in Bethesda. Could we commute from Charles County or Frederick to Bethesda? Any idea how long it would take/ bus/train/metro/car? What's the best transport?? Are we crazy?

Thanks!

DON'T DO IT! I know real estate is prohibitively expensive close to D.C., but the long commute will destroy your quality of life, and maybe more. We moved to Frederick - Urbana - 3 years ago and my husband commutes to NW D.C. It takes him at least 1 and 1/2 hours each way - more with traffic or weather problems! The congestion is only getting worse each year.

If I had it all to do over again, I would have bought a small place in Bethesda or Rockville!

Good Luck

DON'T DO IT! You will be driving FOREVER!!! NOT WORTH IT!!! It will take over 2 hours! Just getting from Branch Ave to a Metro is about 45 mins. and Red line delays, forget about it!
