Why is it everyone is assuming that night life is just bars and clubs?

No one has mentioned seeing some comedy, playing pool or going to museums.

BTW if you think that $30 is high for NYE in boston it's around $50!

I wouldn't classify museums as nightlife. Maybe that's just me.

I saw a couple of other places in DC, like I said earlier $60 to get into Ibiza, $100 for VIP, where the only difference is 2 extra hours of open bar. $30 is the lowest I've seen around here. I'm probably staying and ordering some chinese.

I recently moved down to the DMV area from Bmore. But I am now married. I haven't really experienced the DC nightlife solo.

From the few times I have been out. I have seen plenty of gorgeous women. But to be honest with you. I wasn't paying too much attention. Whether or not it was a sausage fest.

I will say that a lot of the ladies do look a little High Maintenance compared to the women in Baltimore. For whatever that is worth.

My wife is in a Sorority. Some of the finest women I have seen as grouping. They all give off the High Maintenance vibe.

But behind clothes doors. They are all wreck. It has been very educational.

Is she an AKA? Personally, I like a woman with a little high maintenance vibe, as long as it is not extreme. I like a woman with that knows how to dress and can turn a few heads at time. I am not surprised about your statement though, the young black professional crowd in DC is a beast. Plus, as previously mentioned there are way more professional black females than males in the city, so they are all in competition. Honestly, my wardrobe has changed since I got here. I never really wore sportcoats or cardigans when I lived in New Orleans.

Some people do get bombed at home before going out to the free museums (its cheaper than going to bars).
