I am a volunteer with the Orange County Sheriff's Office here in Orlando. When I move to DC, I'm interested in volunteering there too. What department are you with? Do you use volunteers? Thanks

Try this for MPD

https://oap.mpdconline.com/public/ContentPages/Reserve.aspx (broken link)

This for Montgomery County PD

MC Department of Police: 1st District

Basically just google the name of the police department and 'volunteer' and that should show you pretty quickly if they take volunteers. I hear the best departments to work for are Montgomery County and Fairfax County, so I imagine they're also good places to volunteer.

MPD Reserve program is full excellent officers. I will not hesitate to call them officers because they are hard-working and will help out when called upon.

If you are interested in joining the MPD reserves, send me a message.
