Considering a move into River Place South in the Rosslyn neighborhood of Arlington, VA. Is it a safe location? Good value for what you pay for? Are the amenities of a gym, pool, and dryer / washer worth it? Also, does air traffic from Ronald Reagan Int'l fly directly overhead, and if it does is it always loud?
I lived in River Place East until 2005. The buildings are pretty safe. They are on the cheaper side for the area. Most of the units are individually owned, so the rents vary.
The area is pretty safe, and is fairly quiet. The area is pretty dead at night and on the weekends but is walking distance to both Georgetown and Clarendon.
thanks for the help. Yeah it seemed that after hours you really have to leave the area for any type of restaurant or bar
