Default Favorite Hole-In-The-Wall/Dives/Cheap(!) Places to Eat in DC

Since I'm back in the area and on a budget, am curious to know if any of you have any fav cheap eats in DC (especially ethnic ones!). By cheap I mean less than $10, but $5 is even better. There was a Chinese take-away on M street I used to love, could get a truly authentic dish for about $6. Think it was near 20th or so.

Anyone?

It is a little green and white spot in the Maine Avenue Fish Market that is off the chain. I love their Crab ball platter.

Dan's Cafe on 18th in Adams Morgan. They only serve beverages that get you smashed.
Littiri's, at 517 Morse Street, N.E, Great sandwiches
Horace and Dickies, 12th and H NE, Great fried fish
Super Taco Bakery, Columbia Road, Adams Morgan

Ben's Chili Bowl is always good. The Capital City Diner on Bladensburg NE is good too, but is not metro accessible.

Oh I love Capital City Diner!

Amsterdam Falafelshop on 18th in Adams Morgan is great. Falafels are under $10 and I think they have a $10 deal that's a small falafel, small fries and a drink.

Taqueria Distrito Federal is really good. 3463 14th St. NW
Washington, DC 20010

I'll vote for Litteri's as well. They are more of an Italian grocery as opposed to a place that you would go for a meal though.
