HA! Obviously you couldn't afford it if it were all high end then. How many well off people would be against that? If you go to wealthy areas (Potomac for instance) and interviewed a bunch of well off people there and asked a question of whether they wanted to add affordable housing to the town what do you think they would say? People like to be surrounded be people like them. If DC went all high end I would be for it. But that's just me.
This city needs more Whole Foods, Starbucks, and restaurants with industrial-chic decor.
