a) I don't run for Metro trains or buses. Completely pointless, because as you said, it causes injuries. I was just pointing out that there seems to people who casually walk on the Metro platform like they have all the time in the world, holding up people behind them who are trying to get to work. Everyone doesn't do this, but it happens every day. It's a little annoying, especially during the morning rush. The platform is crowded enough with six car trains running more frequently and the trains going all the way to the front of the platform.

b) I don't think anyone is complaining, per se, about the time stuff. It's just something that we've noticed. As long as the trains are getting there, what's the big deal. The time thing is just wrong. That's all.

Everyone should be grateful to WMATA for putting those signs in instead of complaining.
So we should be happy that we have non-functioning signs? Might as well not have them to begin with.

For the past week or so, the signs at College Park have been off by like three minutes. The sign will say the train is arriving in 3 minutes while the train pulls in to the station. This also happens on the mezzanine signs, meaning you'd miss your train because you'd assume you have three minutes to get on board.

At least you could say you were screwed over by a train leaving EARLY instead of late :P

Tonight as my orange line train went through foggy bottom, a little before 6PM, there was a fire there. The station was full with smoke, and we stopped there for about 5 minutes, cars filling up with smoke. Then when we finally left, they shut off the ventilation because it would have just made things worse..
