If that's what they want to do, or happen to like the stuff, that's their business.

Its pretty douchebaggery to be judgmental of others when they're doing something that has no impact on you.

Your right, it is pretty DB. Although it could have an impact if you were trying to walk around that corner and those people were in your way.

The US culinary tradition lags behind that of Europe when it comes to desserts. I never understood why do you like cupcakes or doughnuts. They are just sugar and no flavor. I know that even what we consider american is probably, to some extent, european. Apparently, cupcakes are famous in England and Ireland.
But try to compare these to say...canollis or tiramisu'. Or even authentic italian ice-cream.

P.S.
I purposely omitted apple pie and key-lime pie. American pie is delicious and I am addicted to it.

I understand where you are coming from when you say this, and I am not a fan of desserts even. Pie in restaurants and also REALLY GOOD QUALITY made pies for dessert are a BIG pet peeve of mine and seriously lacking in restaurants in the United States.

True key lime pie is to die for. That is for sure.
