I wish they had a super walmart so I could permanently get away from the safeways and shoppers of the world.

I love shopping at Wal-Mart. So much cheaper and convenient to shop for everything under one big roof.

I wonder why neither Georgetown or Dupont Circle areas were never chosen?

Because nobody in Georgetown or Dupont wants to spend their money on cheap junk...

Good. Target sucks.

Why people shop at Target when the same exact products are at Wal-Mart and at way cheaper prices is beyond me. And also, some of the people who frequent Wal-Mart are pretty amusing. Points for eccentricity.

Too bad I moved to Germany before seeing this glorious development in DC.

Most on this thread are turning there nose up at Walmart, but it could be just what the area needs. (It brings jobs to a blighted area.)

They only hate it because someone on Keith Oberman/Maddow etc told them they were supposed to hate it.
