Setting aside the fact that no cupcake is worth waiting upwards of an hour for, I actually think Georgetown Cupcakes are really, really good. I'll definitely take them any day over the dry bricks that pass for cupcakes at CakeLove.
I prefer mom and pops stores, like Heller's Bakery on Mt. Pleasant. But you're right, Georgetown Cupcake is good, but I wouldn't wait in line for one.

That's interesting...on my one (and, to this point, only) trip to Heller's, I found myself very unimpressed. Ordered a cinmamon roll/bun type of thing, and the Mrs. picked up a pastry, and we both found them to be rather mediocre. Maybe they were just having an off day. Nice folks, though.
Bens is great when you are tipsy. Actually, the breakfast is much better than lunch or dinner. Ben is a greasy spoon. What do you expect? BTW: Gtown cup cakes are delicious.

I haven't had it in about a year. Tend to not eat much sweet stuff.
BTW, for the drunken nights, I always prefer Jumbo Slice. I can't see myself eating chili while intoxicated, or a half smoke.

Jumbo Slice has to be one of the most unhealthiest places in the city. I mean, I love grease soaked Pizza after a night of drinking Crown Royal myself but damn, those jokers are greasy.

My only trip ever to a Jumbo Slice came after a night of over-imbibing at Bohemian Caverns' Belgian Happy Hour.
Never, ever, ever again. Even for drunk food, it was disgusting.
