Bluefly it's getting harder to get accepted into U Maryland from out of state because so many people want to move to the metro area.

whatcha mean? I love UMD and am proud to call myself a Terp but if you look at various program rankings and whatnot, PSU and UMD are pretty similar. And I definitely think CP pales in comparison to various college towns including State College.

Well I guess your mileage may vary. I had one hell of a time at UMCP. When did you graduate?

Students who are loking for a safety school from AU are not good students. A simple check of average SAT scores will prove the point.
