Still Baltimore to me.
Once you get past the highway sign all you gotta do is close ya eyes for 35-45 minutes while in constant motion and re-open them and kaboom!

Ooh, hadn't heard of this one -- but closed this summer during Walter Reed's move, and reopening in Silver Spring this fall.

Four small museums/institutes just in Foggy Bottom:
- The Organization of American States has a museum of contemporary Latin American art
- The Octagon House, owned by the AIA and temporarily the White House
- The Daughters of the American Revolution run a museum of period decorative arts behind Constitution Hall
- The National Academy of Sciences has a great lecture hall space (also closed for renovation), plus their Koshland science museum near Gallery Place

The Display Ship Barry is also kind of random -- a decommissioned destroyer along the Navy Yard riverwalk that you can just wander around.
