Dupont/Logan like everyone has said. I dream of living in that part of town.

There's a really nice place coming on the market next week for ~$3M in Dupont - if its in your price range keep an eye out.

Default Absolutely

agree with the poster who says since you live so close to DC, come check it out on the weekend. Not trying to be mean but if you asked if Dupont Circle has shops, cafes, etc. you should really come see it for yourself as I think walking, biking around the different areas will really give you the best data for answering your question. Good luck!

I want it to have a few parks, be in the MIDDLE of DC, close to metro, and have a lot of retail/cafes/restaurants. I have no price limit, but I want it to be in Northwest DC, and to be safe!

I was looking at penn quarter because it was in the middle of DC and looked very artsy/friendly. I really want it to be walkable, without me having to have a car, and also be VERY bike friendly. Again, price is not a problem. People have been talking about farragut square, dupont circle, and some other places, and I wanted to ask a person who lived in DC what their opinions were! I also like Adams Morgan, but thought it was a little far from downtown!

Thanks a bunch!

PS: I also want to be near the national mall if possible!
Wow, you're 25 and you have no "price limit"? You're one lucky cat there. You should have a reality show.
