Default Rogue Police

Video: Sick: D.C. Police Abuse Homeless Man In A Wheelchair!

thats just one encounter.
Police in DC seem to go overboard 24/7 and abuse their authority A LOT.
You don't know how many times I've seen excessive force by the hands of DC police, and other police agencies in the area. The pigs are dirty. If it isn't racist cops then its cops accepting bribes, or jumpouts robbing drug dealers.

Yes the overriding problem and threat to the safety and security of DC residents are rogue DC cops.

The way OP writes, you'd think it was a video of the police actually beating someone, or worse, rather than simply tackling a person who was fleeing.

I don't think the police are all good, far from it, but that video demonstrates exactly nothing.

Uh the guy is in a wheelchair. His legs don't work. I don't think he was exactly outrunning the cops.

It looked to me like he was fleeing and resisting arrest. Which is also what the cops said. Not everyone who uses a wheelchair is incapable of walking.

The guy was intoxicated and crippled, what did you think would happen when they picked him up. Just from the looks of it, it just looks like he fell and pulled the police with him. I think they are making a way bigger story of this than what it is. If these police were really trying to hit him, don't you think they would have assaulted him once he was on the ground, where he's most vulnerable?

That video says a lot! He was not resisting arrest in that video. They picked him up and expected him to walk and got a big surprise when he couldn't. I can tell just from looking at his legs that this guy can't walk. He was not fleeing. If he was they could just shoot out his tires, no? They could disable the chair prevent him from going anywhere easily.

disclaimer: I use a wheelchair.

I'd like to hear the whole story personally.

I'm far more concerned about DC's hoodrats than "rogue" cops.

But as for the actual story, it seems they may have used a little bit more force than needed. Then again, maybe if that j@ckass would have stop being drunk and listened to the cops, this would have never happened.
