Can anybody tell me a bit about the Fort Lincoln, Langdon Park, Michigan Park neighborhoods? I haven't found much about them on the forums.

*Accessibility to transit (obviously no metro, but good buses?)
*Walkability - where are the shopping/services areas (if any)?
*Crime/general sketchiness?
*Green space? Are Langdon Park, the Arboretum, Fort Lincoln Cemetery or Fort Totten Park nice places to take your dog, picnic etc. or are they neglected/sketchy?
*Community feel? Good place to raise a kid, walk a dog, etc.?
*Economically on the up-and-up? Would you buy a house here?
*How do these areas compare to the Takoma/Brightwood area?

Thanks much!
