We are looking for housing in the D.C. area, my daughter will be attending A.U. and we are 14 day's and counting... If anyone has any possabilities please advise. maybe you have a student going away too and needing a roommate... or have a room ... I am going crazy at this point Budget of aprox. 700.00 -800.00

Try Craigslist or go to UA classifieds...

Craigslist will also let you post that you are looking for a place. You can alway try the Housing Office on campus - something may have opened up. Also try the AU off Campus Housing listings -

American University Off Campus Housing Service

Since AU is in a residential area, many people have converted basements into apts and rent them to students. The link above should help direct you to some of those listings. Good luck!
