Foreign/Embassy women?
As a single 29 year old male, I was curious as to where are good places to meet foreign women working/living in D.C.? With all the embassies here, there must be a good number of foreign women in the area. So far I haven't had too much luck in my search.

There all over. Just depends on their taste and what spots in DC resemble places they would visit back at home..

Go to the gym.... Not trying to be funny, but women from other countries get bored not having many friends, so they work out

Down around the IMF and World Bank you'll find quite a few. Plenty of lunch places down there filled with folks from other countries. You can also hang out at Cafe Milano in Georgetown or some of the other places down there that cater to that crowd.
One thing worth noting: an embassy posting to the US in many countries is regarded as a pretty plum assignment. It's not something that is given to say a 25-year-old just out of foreign service single women--it is far more likely to go to a 20-year-veteran of the diplomatic corps with a family and kids and the like. That's not to say there aren't some young women in the foreign services of their countries, but you should consider the odds.

This is totally true. Most of the young women I've met from embassies are actually the wives of the diplomatic corp, particularly diplomatic security personnel (often ex or current military officers, i.e. big guys with guns). I once met a nanny for an ambassador, but it didn't look like they gave her much personal time to do stuff on her own.
On the other hand, the local universities, particularly graduate schools, are packed full of single, young, and fun foreign women.

AU has a reputation for attracting foreign students who want to have fun in DC, for what it's worth.
