Hey guys, one of my girlfriends and i are taking a weekend road trip to DC and are wondering where would be a good place to go out on a Saturday night. We are both 20 somethings. Any suggestions (good/bad) are appreciated!! Thanks!!
That's way too broad a question. What are you into? What's your cultural flavor? Also, you like the big dance clubs or a tiny salsa joint or good live music or dive bars...?
I assume you want something on-the-beaten-path, so some nightlife areas:
K Street / 14th Street NW (downtown dance clubs / lounges)
U Street / 14th Street NW (20-40 something jazz clubs / dance clubs / bars with dancing / concert venues / music hall)
H Street NE (hipsterish funky storefront bars / dancing)
Midtown near Connecticut Ave. and 18th Street NW (dance clubs / lounges)
Adams Morgan (20-something party scene)
Capitol Hill (chill restaurant / bar scene when the interns aren't here)
Arlington, VA (homogenous young prof. scene out the orange line)
Penn Quarter (more upscale downtown)
