I'm looking to do something a bit different this year and have read in the past about the cherry blossoms in the Maryland neighborhood of Kenwood. Can someone give me some specifics? Where is the entrance to the neighborhood (I've seen pictures, but no coordinates)?
Also, any suggestions for good places to park or suggested walking routes? I'm recovering from a back and leg injury and I anticipate that by then I'll be able to walk perhaps 1/2-3/4 mile, if the surface is flat or very gently sloped.
Kenwood is just north of the intersection of Little Falls Parkway and River Road. The Capital Crescent Trail runs right past Kenwood so that makes for a great walk to the neighborhood. More info here: Kenwood Neighborhood in Bethesda, MD on washingtonpost.com
