I used to see them all the time, then I switched to using credit cards.

Thanks I'll be here all week :-).

Nope. I've met Herman Cain back when he had a good shot at being the 45th President. But no presidents. They never come to Tennessee ):

Saw Bush the first multiple times, shaking his hands once at a political dinner. Also saw Quayle at the event. Saw him again in White House for a political appointment, and once or twice at a helicopter 'arrival' event (when the allow people on the South Lawn to watch the helicopter come and go).

Also saw Bush and Reagan at Bush's inaugural. Saw Reagan once in a motorcade. Also saw Gorbachev.

Saw Clinton and Bush at Clinton's inaugural. Saw Clinton in his limo a couple times. Saw him at the Women's World Cup Soccer game too sitting a few rows behind me.

Saw Nixon and Ford walking the halls of Congress sort of randomly. Also saw Gore walking down Pennsylvania Avenue once.

Saw Bush the second once, passing in a limo. Also saw him at an Army-Navy football game in Philly.

Have not seen Obama, but not currently in the DC area last couple years.

(I used to work on Capitol Hill so was around politicians a bit).

But seriously though - I have been to fundraising events with each of President Obama and First Lady Michelle, but I only saw each person from a distance. Still waiting for my dinner invite to the WH...and fighting the urge to go Salahi-style!

I see Obama's motorcade at least once a week (Penn Ave and Conn most often), but I have never seen a president in person outside of a car.

I'm actually surprised by the number of people who have seen the President. I've only seen him once at a campaign rally a month before the election in Leesburg. He said "This looks like the real Virginia to me." It was a great day. I had my mom on the phone she was just happy to hear him speak through me and the phone. I've seen his motorcade twice. When I worked in Arlington I had an office that faced 395.

Oh brother. Repulsive? They don't do that for fun we don't want the man to get shot.
