Default America's Favorite Cities survey concludes that D.C. ...

Is full of unfriendly, ugly, boring, yet sophisticated and intelligent people.

Another good way to put this is that we're a bunch of ugly, douche-bag yuppies.

Ah, D.C., what a town.

Either way their conclusions are fully applicable to the D.C. suburbs.

People here are more pleasant than my old home in Charlottesville. There's a unique blend of souther aristocratic snobbyness and yuppy elitism there that you'll get from lots of people. Here I've found plenty of friendly people, but maybe it's just relative.
