Just like W street, 8th street is not a neighborhood, it's a street that runs through a lot of neighborhoods. So just as with your W street question, you're going to need to provide a cross street.

Nice! Walking distance to Union Station and Eastern Market. Also, Kenny's BBQ if it's still there! (on 8th and MD). Yummm. Schneider's is a great liquor store BTW on 3rd & Mass. Oh, the memories! (I used to live across the street from it-- also briefly on 8th across from the hospital. Oh! There's a hospital in case you don't like to live across from a hospital. But it's pretty quiet-- not an emergency room but a long-term care sort of place. No ambulances rattling you at night.
