Hi!

I'm taking a cab from Dumfries, VA to foggy bottom on Monday morning. I must be at my destination by 6:45am. When should I leave? I'm not from the area, so I honestly don' know what traffic is like on I-95. Any insight?

Thanks,
Mdear

You should probably give yourself an hour, but you do realize that this is going to be a very expensive cab ride, right? I would guess near $100, not counting tip. If I were you I would try to save a lot of money by instead taking the VRE train or maybe cabbing as far as the Franconia station and then taking the metro in. But that's just me.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, I know the cab ride will be a little steep. I'm in a pretty weird situation right now and I can't avoid it.
