Default Moving to DC area

My wife and I are federal workers. We plan to relocate and work in the DC area. What are some good areas outside of DC to comute from.

A lot of federal jobs are outside of DC proper now, anywhere from Baltimore and Rockville down to NVA. I suggest you get the job or jobs first and then decide where to live.
