I've been noticing a pattern. You will too once I tell you about it. It's not complicated. It's rather simple.

In a gridlock traffic, while you're wondering why you're parked in the middle of the highway, there is THAT PERSON. That ONE person, who is going 15 mph, holding the entire traffic for miles and miles. And THAT PERSON has a douche friend who is right next to em, ALSO going 15 mph. In front of them, miles and miles of open lanes, WITHOUT any traffic (you might be able to put 10 semi truck in that space).

This happens in morning traffic, and afternoon traffic.

Solutions. Go.

How can a car be doing 15mph in grid lock traffic? They must be the ones doing something right.

Solutions? Don't follow the person in front so closely.

All these solutions you guys are presenting aren't very helpful or relevant.

There is a gridlock, because you have cars going 15 mph in front of you, when you can go faster.

Put in place London's Congestion Charge at the District boundaries.

happens on 66 too, gets especially annoying inside the beltway where there's only 2 lanes, two slow movers up at the front having a slow-off, cars lining up behind them, meanwhile in front of them, it's totally clear sailing all the way
