The squad car was destroyed. They're built very well, but that officer is lucky to be ok.

It seems that besides the officer in the squad car being injured there was another wounded officer from the incident.

Agree 100%. I can't believe someone would even think to claim police brutality. She tried to run them over with her car. She could have killed a ton of innocent people in that area. I'm glad the police officer is okay.

The suspect was a 34-year old African American woman, which as we all know exactly matches the standard profile of a Tea Party member.

But you got the "nutjob" part right, if that's how you like to refer to people with mental illness, which she had a history of.

Sometimes it pays to wait for the facts to come out before jumping to conclusions.

If you read about her background, she has a very good job obviously driving a 2 door Lexus is a sign of good income. She works as a dental hygienist which is not something many mental patient is capable of and she has a baby.

Reading the story sounds like somebody who just got very angry and snapped. She got into an altercation with the security guard and they try to stop her from getting too close to the white house instead she floors it.

She was in control of her car, I know not that many women dare to drive like that and also run away from the cops.

Few things scare me, but nothing sends chills down my spine quite like a female driver
