I have lived in the DC area for 25 years and never remember so much snow on the ground during the Cherry Blossom Festival (Which starts March 20th).

Does anyone else think that that the blossoms will be later than any year ever in 2014? (The previous record late bloom is April 18th)

The Cherry Blossom Festival has now started with piles of snow everywhere. I feel sorry for the people who show up in Washington and expect to find green grass, flowers and cherry blossoms. It will be mid April before we see any of that!
