Default Asheford Court

Does anyone know any information about this are in SE? The development is Asheford Court it will be about 70 single family homes starting at 400k. The grocery store that just opened in SE is suppose to be close to this neighborhood.

I just moved to this area 3 years ago and I love it. My cousin has just relocated his family to Ashford Court as well.

Talk about bringing a thread back from the grave...three years, ha,ha.

Anyway, Asheford Court is a nice development. We lived in the area for years and when it was time to move up to a SFH, we strongly considered Asheford Court (we ended up buying elsewhere in the city.) One of our former neighbors lives at AC and she loves it.

Unfortunately for them, the housing crash really shattered their rollout plans and hardly anyone moved in over the past two years. They recently lowered their prices and got a new sales team and there appears to be some movement. The homes seem to be well built. It is still SE DC, so you have to be prepared to take the good with the bad.
