Default How to Find Rentals

Do you have any suggestions on how to find rentals? I have searched the Long and Foster, craigslists websites. Any suggestions? I'm not in DC now so the search will primarily start via the internet.

Looking for a pet friendly single family home in CC, Bethesda area (inside the beltway), not N. Bethesda or Rockville.

Hmm, you're doing the right things: craigslist, the Post, and there might be one more website, but I've only seen the link, don't know it myself (starts with "home" - help?). You might find a magnanimous realtor who will help you for the sake of a good reference and a potential future client (you or someone you refer). That would probably be the best bet since you are looking to rent a home in an upscale location.

Does realtor.com have much as far as home rentals? It's worth a try - in some locales it has very few rentals, but it might have some for DC/MD.

thanks goldenmom7500,

I found the homedatabase.com website. It breaks everything down by zip code. I think I'll be able to find what I'm looking for b/n WAPO, craiglist, L&F, and Homedatabase.

I considered using a RE agent but sometimes they put their own interest before yours. I'm not interested in waisting time looking at properties that are not located in the areas where I want to be located.

Thanks again.

Awesome, good luck. I agree about realtors. Many are unhelpful; a select few are helpful.
