RG3 is done in Washington.

How should the team handle his contract and should he be traded for a third round draft pick or simply put on waivers?

What say you, D.C.?

If you cut him, Chip Kelly up in Philly will be on the phone with him and offer a contract within 24 hours. His system is perfect for RGIII. I would trade him, for no other reason to get him out the division.

Probably (again) goes down as one of the worst acquisitions in NFL history. They traded 3 first round draft picks for RG3 and out of his 2012 class are:

1. Andrew Luck
2. Trent Richardson
3. Ryan Tannehill
4. Courtney Upshaw
5. Russell Wilson (3rd Round and super bowl ring)
6. Nick Foles
7. Justin Tucker (Undrafted and Superbowl Ring)

Source: Wikipedia 2012 draft.

We can cut RG3 and put yet another QB - wont make a difference, our GM and ownership system is broken. They need for Dan Snyder to back off - and to take a serious look at the scouting and GM system that they have and start the analysis there. Start at the root of the problem - so many QBs and Coaches that they could start their own arena football leauge, and theyd still manage to lose to themselves.

Fix the system.

To be fair, the top 10 in the 2012 draft class may have been one of the worst ever. Outside of Luck, Luke Kuechly, possibly Stephon Gilmore up in Buffalo, that top 10 is nothing but busts or close to busts. The Redskins didn't stand much of a chance of getting that pick right for what they gave up for it.

Are you trying to argue players they could have drafted instead of trading their pick? If so, your list makes no sense

Trent Richardson is not a good running back, has split carries since being traded to Colts (hello he was traded after 1 year!)

Ryan Tannehill is arguable.

Russell Wilson was a great pick, but no way was any team going to risk a 1st rounder on him. Too many question marks, but in hindsight, probably deserved to be picked that high.

Nick Foles is very unproven even at this point. He maybe a low-grade starter at best. His stats have normalized this year when he was healthy.

Justin Tucker, who drafts a kicker in the first round?

Tucker has scored 365 points in his pro career.

How many have RG3 and Out scored?

Wow RG3 was the offensive rookie of the year 2012 beating out luck. RG3 got a team to the playoffs that had no business being there.

The problem isnt RG3 the problem is the redskins system of coaching and management.....redskins MANAGEMENT sucks!!!COACHING sucks too!!! Redskins problems are way bigger than RG3.

Peyton Manning first year in the league he threw 28 INTERCEPTIONS!!.....they stuck with him though. Peyton has never had less than 9INT in a year.

Tom Brady sat his first year....

Aaron Rodgers sat THREE years....

Luck has a veteran QB matt hasselback behind him and a great qb coach......Who is the redskins qb coach.....No veteran QB to backup RG3...just rookies like himself. MISMANGEMENT.

RG3 first year he threw 20tds and 5 ints. while running for almost 1000 years as a ROOKIE.....

This year he was hurt the whole year......due the fact the redskins never invested in a good offensive line. As young QB you lose confidence if you see the turf on every play. Redskins have mishandled RG3 development every step of the way.

If RG3 goes somewhere else I believe RG3 can be successful.

A coach whose motto is "culture wins football" isn't going to go after a locker room distraction who is more of an injury risk than a mobile threat.
