I mean basically busting balls.

The 80% men to women ratio is just an odd dynamic when the intent is of the night out is to find a mate. Most men won't approach in this scenario as they will feel as if they are on stage. It has nothing to do with growing a pair but simply why take such a risk to look like some desperate douche approaching a lonely table of women surrounded by so many men? Most men are putting on the "I am too mature to drool over you" hoping that the women notice this.

Just think about it for a min. You have the entire place filled with all this masculine energy and just 1 single table with a group of women sitting apart from the rest of the women that make the 10-15%. The guys who are straight have already zeroed in on the one they like and are probably waiting for anyone in fact, to stray away to the bathroom so they can isolate her and attempt to court in private. At this point with so many men, any women will do.

Think of a pride of lions on the hunt waiting for that sole gazelle to stray away. Unfortunately, if the young and inexperienced just breaks the lines and approaches, the entire group of gazelles flea and there goes the kill.

Women need to step it up. I always hear that women are independent and don't need a man. If you want equal rights then start approaching men. Ask him to go on a date. You said you wanted to be equal so step it up

Right!

And when I run into a man I deem worthy of pursuing outside the selection already available to me, I'll be sure to approach.
