As a man I have always found this sexist double standard to be annoying. If its 98 degrees and 100% humidity we still wear at minimum pants, long sleeve shirt, tie, and closed shoes. Anything else is considered unprofessional. Women get skirts, open shoes, short/no sleeve shirts.

This sexism must end!

This in a nutshell is probably the biggest reason I will not miss DC when I move in a few months. Nothing better than 110 degree weather and then getting on a Metro train car that has no A/C.

I don't believe I've ever seen 110 in DC.

Including the humidity, the heat index definitely gets up to 110. Heat Indexes Climb Above 120 in Region | NBC4 Washington

I can also get to 110 on my magnetic compass. We were talking temperature.
