Nationals will either be playing the Dodgers in DC or in LA. Very close right now so too early to assume with 1 week left.

I'd love to go up to DC for game 1 or 2 since it's on the weekend. I see there is standing room only tickets on mlb.com which I'm cool with buying.

However, if they are in LA for game 1 & 2 I'm not sure what would happen with a refund. I tried calling customer service but the person on the phone was not helpful.

He said the game & time is TBA as of right now so I need to check back. However, I told him 2-3 times that I am currently able to buy tickets through mlb.com so I should be able to get an answer on whether a refund is given if the game is not played.

Any experience dealing with this?

In 2012, I purchased Nats NLDS Championship tickets. Nats didn't make it, but it took Nats over a month after the 2012 WS to refund the ticket fees. On top of that, they only refunded the ticket cost portion of it, not the "convenience" charge.

^^^ Thanks. Good info since the convenience charge usually adds up.
