Driving with tags and registration different state of drivers license (insurance, home)

I hit someone and we both were ok we exchanged information i went home to file a claim to find out my insurance was cancelled 2 days prior, and i have a drivers license different from my registration and home address
What could be my fines or situation?

If the insurance was cancelled due to non-payment, contact them and see if you can get it reinstated effective from before cancellation by paying now. I don't know if they will do it, but give it a shot and try. The drivers license difference shouldn't matter, but they may require you to get your license changed to where you live. I'm no expert on this so I hope more knowledgable people will respond.
