Several local bakeries (& one ice cream shop) have very solid coffee programs, like Baked & Wired, Leopold's, and Dolcezza. Not sure if Blue Bottle is "indie" anymore, but they're also in the neighborhood.

I think Baked & Wired is the most popular indie shop in Gtown.

But seriously, Gtown and "indy shop" are like literal opposites. Might as well just go to starbucks and shop at Abercrombie & Fitch afterwards. Dont get me started...
