Has anyone here done the monthly parking in DC? I'm talking about like the garaged parking sites. If so, how is it? I currently live in Rosslyn, but I'm making the move to DC proper, and at my job, we can't park here (unless it's those stupid 2 hour limit parking spots that cost 5 bucks every 2 hours).

Just curious if anyone has done it. If not, I'm considering just renting out a parking space in Rosslyn and just going to grab my car whenever I need it. (I still want to keep it because it's paid off, and plus, I hate relying on public transportation on weekends. DC is way too small to rely on the Metro/Uber).

If you go a little further out you from Rosslyn can save a good bit of money. The Colonial Parking facility at Virginia Square Metro is $100 a month versus $150-$175 in Rosslyn, and takes just 8-9 minutes longer.

Yeah, VA Square and Ballston have very cheap parking.

Also, I know non-tenants that were able to pay for a spot at River Place in Rosslyn. I think its pretty reasonable there too.

Where do you work? Downtown has so much gridlock traffic that I cant imagine why you would want to drive.
