I spend most of my time in this area and I was wondering what the nicest apartment buildings are in the area as I'm thinking about moving to the area in December.

There are a number of rentals. Many are condos that the owners are renting out. There are a lot more of those than actual apartment buildings. You are looking at a minimum of $2500 for a one bedroom.
