FWIW, if you want to eat fairly cheap there are a number of vendors located along Howard Street (where the light rail is located) right next to the Convention Center (northeast of OPACY) and also near the Camden Street/Paca Street intersection north of the LF corner. Some of them, especially those on Howard Street, have very reasonable prices on Italian and Polish sausages.

In addition to the vendors, there are a lot of bars near Camden and Paca. Also, there are some places near the ballpark that have excellent crabcakes. If you've never had a Maryland crabcake, you need to eat one, even if you aren't a seafood person (and I'm not). Good stuff (though expensive).

Red Sox - Orioles in Baltimore is like a Boston home game. Never mind the fans, the street vendors all have Ortiz and Youkilis t-shirts.

I'm a big baseball fan and I've lived here a long time, originally from NE. While I'm a Nats fan now, there is no question that there are more Red Sox fans in this area than Oriole fans. There are so many bars carrying all the Sox games I don't know even where to start. Town Hall in Glover Park and Kitty O'Sheas in Arlington are two of my favorites. Crystal City Sports Pub is another. There's also a meetup group just for DC-area Sox fans.
