Well, maybe not unlimited food (I fibbed), but definitely enough food to feed yourself for a baseball game (even a 22 inning baseball game).

RE: Nationals games, if you are budget-conscious the new ballpark actually has a number of reasonably-priced seats. Actually, pretty much all the seats in the upper deck in the infield and down the lines are solid values. Seats in the lower part of the upper deck (300 level) go for $24 in the infield (excluding "premium" games), while seats in the higher part of the upper deck (400 level) go for $18, $10, and $5. The $5 seats are limited, only in Sections 401 and 402.

One, additional thing - if you are a government employee, in the military, or are a student, you can get $3 off any seat except the $5 seats for Monday-Thursday games if you show your ID.

Here's a link to the seating chart:

http://washington.nationals.mlb.com/...ngchart_08.gif

The seats in red are the $24 seats, the seats in dark brown (and gray down the RF line) are the $18 seats, the seats in lighter brown (and dark green) are the $10 seats, and the seats in beige are the $5 seats.

For the burger buffs, there is a Five Guys in the ballpark itself, and yes, you get a week's worth of very good fries with that. It's on the Upper Concourse in right field, just up the escalator from the kiddie playland area....off to your left if you come in the center field gate off of Half Street coming down from the Metro station. There's also Ben's Chili Bowl, and some of the generic-named stands sell their stuff too. A half-smoke with chili and onions may be a bit messy, but they are pretty darned good. Red, Hot, & Blue barbecue is a bit pricey, but their stuff is good as well. A little disappointed with the foot-longs so far, though the sauerkraut serves to redeem them somewhat...

Update on the 5 Guys...I tried it out this weekend and it was amazing. You are definitely right about the fries!

At the latest Nats game that I went to, one of the funniest parts was when the presidential mascots (Lincoln, Jefferson, etc.) race around the field. I hope they have fans or AC in those outfits for the summer heat that is coming.

I know he was sooo close! I wonder if they have this whole thing planned out?

If they do, when do you think they will finally let him win? At the last game of the season perhaps...or a really important game against a rival.

They didn't let Teddy win for the last game at RFK or the first game at Nationals Park, so I suspect they'll never let him win.

Yeah, I thought one of those two would be it for sure. Got tickets for both...didn't want to miss the big moment. But alas, all for nought!!! He did, of course "win" tonight, but then he was disqualified for taking shortcuts. Trash call, blue!!! At this point, what will it take? Seventh game of a World Series??? Given the history of the franchise, that might be a bit over my personal event horizon...
