Default Best Place to Work

Considering nightlife after work, restaurants to eat lunch and/or dinner (combination of good and affordable food), safety, transportation, salaries, and pretty much any other enticing factor. Where is the best area to work in DC making less than $100,000 a year?

I guess my question wasn't understood. When I say best place I am not referring to employer. I am talking about actual location in DC.

Hmmm...probably Dupont Circle & Farragut North if you're looking easy access to the Metro, a variety of places to go for lunch and for things to do after work.

How much less than $100k? If you're making 80, you'll do fine anywhere. If 40, you'll have to really evaluate things.

I make just a tad under $40k and have never had a problem going out in any neighborhood. Especially if you're talking about after work, since most have happy hour specials making even the expensive places fairly affordable.

Now living somewhere.......that's a different story

i do not really understand what you actually meant by the best place to work, are we talking about or considering the pay cheque or the enviroment viz;the cost of living etc. in my own opinion, the determining factors of my best place of work are,1.the pay cheque, 2.a favourable enviroment in terms of cost of living and above all,a place that i will be able enough to optimize my potentials.thanks
