Cool commute from DC to MD
I'm moving to DC and want to live in the city (dupont, adams morgan), but my work is in MD (College Park). how bad the commute will be? Metro is an option, but my work is not that close to the metro stop. Would driving be ok given that i'll be going out of DC (hopefully against the traffic)?

shouldn't be too too bad. I live on the way to College Park from where you mentioned and traffic seems to flow well in that direction through the city every day. I bet Route 1 is a mess (though I do not know) so I would suggest Irving to Michigan to Queens Chapel to get through quickly.
