I never said it was so your statement is the one that is false, by inferring I did. I have never seen you not hit your wife. See how that goes? Before you call me out for accusing you of something, the key to my statement is that i have never seen you and I have never heard you report that you haven't hit your wife, either.
As well as everything else, you need some lessons in English comprehension. I didn't infer you said anything.....
You were asked a direct question about supporting or opposing violence, and you declined to answer.
I simply pointed out you had declined.
Why don't you ask me if I've ever beaten my wife? Go on, be brave........
Exactly. This "coup" is just like the mob riot at the Senate Office Building during the Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation. Both were just hysteric displays by groups of people that couldn't accept reality and were further amped up by consuming too much political pornography.
While i like trying to see both sides, this is a really bad take. The Kavanaugh protest was like 100s of protests. People legally entered the public areas of senate office buildings were they were loud and annoying to draw attention to a political cause. Some were arrested for blocking hallways.
1) they did not violently storm the capital illegally bypassing the legal entry process.
2) they did not cause thousands of dollars in property damage.
3) they did not chant to kill and hang politicians.
4) they did not violently fight with law enforcement.
5) the did not have pipe bombs, and a cooler full of molotov cocktails
6) they did not MURDER a US Capitol Police officer.
This was an unprecedented attack on the Capitol by US citizens.
The attempt to disrupt legislative proceedings via mob action isn't a coup, it's a form of political riot. That's what this was. Every spin beyond that is political hysteria of which we have seen far too much in the last years.
We can argue about the technically legal definition of whether it is best described as deadly riot, an insurrection, domestic terrorism, or an attempted coup.
But, all of that is simply semantics. We can't forget the horrifying and shocking nature of what happened. A crowd of thousands illegally stormed the capital by force to overturn the results of free and fair election. They destroyed property, chanted about hanging the VP, violently fought law enforcement and KILLED a Capital Police officer.
This was one of the saddest and most shameful actions in modern US history.
Yes. They are both human beings. And a trespasser she was. I trespassed on my neighbor's property the other day. Am I any less a human because of that?
Terrorist??? How?
Interesting.
For trespassing, you are not less of a human but your neighbor would have been entitled to use deadly force against you (depending on the specific circumstances of course). and yes, that woman was a terrorist. If you disagree, you support far right radical terrorism against America.
When NFL players were "kneeling" during the national anthem, was that a peaceful protest?
In case you didn’t understand what I was getting at, I was referring to the fact that the media outlets and many politicians wouldn’t refer to the riots in the cities this past summer as “riots”. But, they immediately referred to the storming of the Capitol as such.
That said, Justin case you are still confused as to my opinion of this, I am ticked at the storming of the Capitol. It set back the cause of Republicans/Conservatives. It gave the left ammunition, although they are still worse.
To answer your question about NFL players and the kneeling, peaceful protest yes, but disrespectful. I’ve dropped football from my entertainment. I’m done with them.
I'm depressed and surprised (but not too surprised) by the ignorance and bias shown in some of the comments on here, thinking that the attempted coup was just another protest or that Antifa was behind it all. Here's the latest news about how several Capitol Police officers are under review for their conduct in the event as well as seven police officers from across the United States for potential rules violations. As it notes, as many as 17 officers under investigation as part of eight investigations into the insurrection at the Capitol, and Capitol Police acting Chief Yogananda Pittman said several officers were suspended. Read it and then explain to us how you can defend the actions by these domestic terrorists.

Calm down One day of protest fun . Where were you for the past ten months of BLM " protests "??
I’m so sick of this whataboutism.
I was in DC during the last 10 months?? Where were you?
Where were you? How were you effected during the BLM protest??? I really wasn’t. Other than there was a ton of law enforcement and for some reason the city was boarded up. Which people turned into beautiful art, mind you.
Let me tell you how it is with the duck dynasty crowd running around town. Scary....they’re violent belligerent people. They yell on the metro, they make scenes. They’ll come up to you and cough on you, they’ll yell “MAGA”. They’re disrespectful, they’re foul people. I don’t understand why they can’t come to their little Nazi rally and go home. They get flights canceled, they are hateful.
I can’t even go to Target without getting harassed? Minding my own business. Do these antifa/BLM people come in huge swarms to small town america, come to your communities, harass peopel going to the drug store, do they yell “Biden” at the top of their lungs to everyone?? Do they treat the cashiers and restaurant workers like trash because in small town america, they voted Trump. Do they wave giant BLM flags in your face?
Just an FYI. None of that stuff has hAppened with BLM and I don’t even really know if Antifa is an actual thing... like. It’s not organized... it’s not this thing the right makes it out to be. No one yells BLM on metro. No one yells at cashiers, no one waves flags up in peoples faces. They just wanna be left alone. I wanna be left alone. I know DC, Seattle, Charlottesville maybe some little vacation for people to March with tiki torches and then they go home and live their little lives. We’re trying to live our lives too. This isn’t vacation. So to see all these people from the insurrection cry “I thought it was peaceful, I thought we were allowed, I thought it was ok”. No. This isn’t a playground.
Has antifa came to any small town in America, stormed your governmental buildings?
So unless you specifically had to deal with some bull during any riots, then you really shouldn’t be asking peopel “where have you been”

"Protest fun" and whataboutism. I think this comment says it all about what's wrong with the way certain Trump supporters are ignoring the seriousness of the crimes committed by domestic terrorists here. Keep up with your ignorance if you like. Just know that history will be your final judge.
