PLaces to look for apartments..
26yo just moved to the Northern Virginia Area for a Job in Herndon. I have temporary housing for 2 months close to work so that I can decided where to live in that area. Would love to live in DC.. but commute would be bad, taxes would be higher, and I don't want to deal with the dc. gov.. (getting driver's license, car tax, etc.) So I've decided to live along the metro in between dc and herndon so a 25-40 minute commute to work would be okay and the night life would be decent locally and really nice a couple of metro stops over. Looking for 1 br. for around 1400-2000/mo. ( need to have parking and allow a small dog.) So does anyone know any apartments in Virginia Square, Court House, Clarendon about 3-4 blocks from the metro that may meet these criteria? Or any resources besides craig's list, apartments.com, washington post, or washington city paper that I might look in?
