I might be partial because I live in VA, but I think VA is your best bet. You can get into the city quite easily from Alexandria or Arlington by metro. Like previous posters have mentioned, it depends on if you are moving children or if it's just yourself, and what kind of budget you are considering. It would be helpful for you to consult with a realtor. They would be able to help you weed through what you are not looking for, so you can concentrate your efforts on where you'll really want to settle down. Best of luck!

Terrible, man, just terrible. Don't you know, people coming to US must immediately forget their foreign languages (their have their choice of American or Ebonics), as well as SI and geography.
