Default What regions of DC are you interns staying at?

Are you guys staying in DC? or Arlington? And where in either?

I'm thinking Georgetown area?

way back when I was an intern I lived in a rented out bedroom right by the East Falls Church station. Certainly not the most ideal location for someone in their 20s, but if the rents in Clarendon/DC/Georgetown are out of your price range, Falls Church can be a good fall-back option. Just live very close to a metro station, of course.

Arlington is also a good happy medium btwn price and location for DC interns.

A lot of interns stay in Gtown or up around AU, and more on Capitol Hill.

Really it depends on where you are working and how you are getting there. There is no sense spending 1 hour on the bus when you can just as easily get a place that is more or less walking distance to your internship.
