If you seriously know that little about the country you live in, that is a complete failure of the Dade county education system. Do you ever do anything like travel, or read anything about cities? And what is with Baltimore? It is an in significant city 30 miles from DC. Also, read the abreviation. DISTRICT of Columbia. Of course its not a state, it is a district! Also, did you really have to post a blog? Try wikipedia next time!!

Default What about Virginia?
Is that place south of DC a State (like Maryland) or a Commonwealth (like Puerto Rico)?
