Default Hows DC? Looking to move.

To Readers:

I am 25 year old from Long Island looking to move to the city- but not NYC way too expensive. Any advice and info on DC as I am looking into it. I'm in the real estate profession- how is the opportunity there. The social life. Any info would help.

The DC area is becoming as expensive as the NYC area. Social life is not as diverse.

I commuted from DC to NY for several years. Socially I got to see first hand the major difference between the District and the City. The bottom line is that they both have the same ammenties. There are fewer in the district than NY but you'll enjoy it all the same.

Thanks for the feedback, visited DC, really liked! A lot nicer than NYC- could not believe how clean the metro system was. I inquired about condos for sale and rent. You are right it is getting up there like NYC $$. It appeared that the economy was more stronger than NYC area, there seems to be a good amount of commercial real estate opportunity.
