Default Rental Agent

Hello All,
Has anyone have any experience or recommend a rental agent for help finding a 3 bedroom apartment in DC? My son has been in the DC for a few weeks and has been having a tough time trying to get a place. He has been close to getting one numerous times all over the city but still hasn't had any luck.
Thanks.
Jack

No idea on an agent, I pretty much did all of my own searching. However, what I found most useful was CraigsList and real estate websites like McEnearney or Long & Foster. If there's a rental you're interested in, just contact the agent. That same agent might be able to help you find others as well.

I saw a townhouse in my community on CraigsList going for $2200 if that's in his budget. I really like it, and it's a good location.

Most rentals aren't listed with agents. Craigslist is the best resource for rentals by far.

I've never used a rental agent down here. In addition to some of the other suggestions, he could use sites like ApartmentGuide, Apartments, or Move. Another idea would be to go directly to websites of some of the corporate-run apartment buildings/communities. Some of the big ones in this area are Archstone, Avalon, Kettler, Post and I'm sure there are many others as well.

I would try Craigslist. Also if money is of concern, look for some older (1960s) properties throughout Arlington and Alexandria. Wealthy developers have taken most of these buildings down but many do still exist if you look.
