relocating to DC area with a special needs child
hi there!
we are considering a move to the DC area due to work. we have a special needs child who will be 5 when we move. we are looking to find the best kindergarten/elementary school setting for him. can anyone recommend good schools/counties that serve special needs children? we are from the bay area so takoma park MD really appeals to us. we don't want 'suburbia' but also don't want to be in the middle of the city --- would like to be in a nice child-friendly neighborhood. any information you could provide would be helpful!
